Young Norfolk Arts Festival

The Young Norfolk Arts Festival is a celebration that sets out to give young people in Norfolk the opportunity to perform in a range of artistic and cultural activities at a moment towards the end of the academic year when exams are over and – we hope! – the sun is shining.

Young people will be involved in organising, performing and watching an exciting programme of artistic events; their families and teachers are welcome to be involved, too!

All events are open to the public, and there are truly exciting ventures in dance, drama, art, design, music and creative writing, so we’re confident that there will be something for everyone!

Last year, events for the Young Norfolk Arts Festival were developed by creative partners across the region including: EPIC Studio, The Garage, Norfolk County Music Service, Norwich Cathedral, Norwich Puppet Theatre, Norwich School, Norwich Sound & Vision, the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, Sistema in Norwich and Writers’ Centre Norwich. We hope that this exciting blend of organisations will grow in future years.

The festival is supported by the Norfolk & Norwich Festival Bridge, which is funded by Arts Council England to connect children and young people with art and culture.

The Young Norfolk Arts Festival is off to an exciting start, and we hope you’ll join us at as many events as you can. You’ll be amazed at what you discover.
